The Supreme Sport Judicial Committee was founded in 1969 and is composed of President, Vice-president and three Members, the term of whom is two years.
The Supreme Sport Judicial Committee has a quorum when its President or Vice-president and a Member of it are present.

The Supreme Sport Judicial Committee has the following competences:

1. Acting as a first instance committee |

To judge sport judicial cases when no relevant provision is contained in the statutes of the interested sport federation
To judge sport offences when no relevant provision is contained in the statutes of the interested sport federation
It is understood that when the sport judicial case or the sport offence falls within the jurisdiction of the relevant sport federation or club, the Supreme Sport Judicial Committee will act as a first instance jurisdiction if the relevant sport federation or club do not exert their jurisdiction, as it is explained, within fifteen days from the date when the sport judicial case was formed or the sport offence was committed. |

2. Acting as a second instance committee, |
to judge and decide upon any kind of appeal, which could be made following the decision of the relevant judicial committees, when such an appeal is permitted by the statutes and when the Organisation accepts such jurisdiction.

3. Awarding expenses in both the foreseen cases described in the section (1) and (2) of the present article. |

4. (1) The decisions of the Supreme Sport Judicial Committee are final and irreversible. |
The Supreme Sport Judicial Committee may impose penalties to individuals, sport clubs, societies, associations and sport federations.
