BREADTH AND AIMS OF STATEMENT: The Statement of Brayton is addressed in all the governments, the Public Authorities, the Organisms, the Enterprises, the Educational and Inquiring institutions, the Organizations of women and the individuals that are responsible for, or that immediately or indirectly influences the conduct, the growth or the promotion of Sports or that deal at any way with the employment, education, administration, training, growth or care of women in the sports. This Statement has aimed to supplement all the athletic, local, national and international constitutive maps, laws, codes, rules and regulations that concern in the women or in the sports.

The main aim is to develop an athletic culture that it would render possible and it attributes value in the complete attendance of women in each side of sports. It is to the interest of equality, growth and peace to commit the Governmental and not Organisms and all those bodies that deal with the Sports to place in application the basic beginnings that are fixed in this Statement, developing suitable policies, structures and mechanisms, that:

•  They ensure that all the women and young girls have the occasion to participate in the sports in a sure and encouraging environment that is not offended the rights, the dignity and the respect of individual.

•  Increase the involvement of women in the sports in all the levels and in all the operations and roles.

- Ensure that the knowledge, the experiences and the values of women will contribute in the growth of sports.

- Promote the recognition of involvement of women in the sports as contribution in the public life, in the growth of its community and in the creation of healthy Nation.

- Promote the recognition from the side of women of value of sports and its attendance in the personal growth and the healthy way of life.
