Objectives of the Federation
 

1. Diffusing, indeed, the sports spirit in society and especially extending the practice of this sport and uplifting soccer, protecting it against any action opposed to the sport idea

2. Organising and supervising football in Cyprus and representing it in the international soccer scene: men΄s, women΄s and indoor football; communicating with the FIFA, UEFA and the foreign recognised Federations and Unions

3. Organising championships or other matches as provided in the present statutes or the internal regulations

4. Supervising any friendly or other match organised by anyone under the Cyprus Football Federation

5. Participating in international matches and organising meetings between foreign teams and ours either in Cyprus or abroad

6. Developing friendly relations among the clubs under our Federation and safeguarding their interests

The achievement of the above-mentioned objective is gone after:

1. Organising every year the Football Championship or other matches among its member clubs

2. Participating in similar championships organised abroad by international soccer federations

3. Strengthening morally and if possible materially its members to promote the pursued objective

 

4. Settling more competitive grounds for this sport

5. Establishing offices to settle its services

6. Purchasing, leasing or acquiring by any other means immovable property and having it registered in the name of the Cyprus Football Federation

7. Issuing occasionally an official bulletin and any other kind of print-out contributing to diffusing its purposes

8. Creating committees to promote the objectives of the Federation

9. Setting up Soccer Academies and other relevant schools to promote the level of refereeing, coaching and in general terms the soccer techniques

10. Setting up an Arbitration Committee

11. Forbidding racial, religious and political discriminations in football in Cyprus

12. Representing its member clubs in relation to concluding agreements with third parties on subjects related to taking advantage of and using radio and / or television broadcasting rights for the transmission and / or any other use and means of soccer and in general terms representing its member clubs regarding any matter for which there is a relevant authorisation.
